Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 02/05/2026

1. Introduction: Welcome to Cobb Accounting Firm. By accessing this website and booking appointments with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our scheduling services.

2. Appointment Policies: To ensure efficient service for all clients, the following policies apply to all scheduled consultations and appointments:

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: We respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the time slot to other clients.

  • Lateness: We provide a 15-minute grace period for all appointments. If you are more than 10 minutes late, the appointment may be considered a “No-Show” and will need to be rescheduled to ensure we do not run into the next client’s scheduled time.

  • No-Shows: Repeated “No-Shows” may result in the inability to book future appointments without a deposit.

3. No Professional Relationship Created Booking a consultation or using this website does not create an accountant-client, bookkeeper-client, or fiduciary relationship. A formal professional relationship is only established once a written Engagement Letter has been signed by both parties and any required retainer has been paid.

4. Disclaimer of Advice The information provided during initial consultations or on this website is for general informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, tax, or legal advice. You should not act upon this information without seeking advice from a professional accountant or attorney regarding your specific financial situation.

5. Payments and Refunds

  • Consultation Fees: If a fee is charged for a booking, it is due at the time of scheduling.

  • Refunds:  Fees are fully refundable if cancelled with 24 hours’ notice.

6. Intellectual Property All content provided on this website and during consultations (including templates, checklists, and guides) is the property of Cobb Accounting Firm and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.

7. Governing Law These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
